What’s included?

  • Pages built around your services, with the number agreed before work starts.
  • Your hours, location, original photos and contact or booking links together.
  • A layout that works on phones, with ongoing updates scoped to your needs.

The quote sets out pages, revisions, setup costs, recurring charges, domain arrangements and ownership. Booking systems and online shops are scoped separately.

What does a café website actually need?

A café might need its menu, opening hours, address, real photographs and a contact link. That gives someone who finds it on Maps a useful next step, including customers who do not use Facebook. A new site does not automatically create demand; the information and next action still need to be useful.

What do you need to get started?

We’ll agree the scope and costs before setup. To understand the job, we start with:

  1. Your business name, services, opening hours and contact details.
  2. Your logo and photographs you have permission to use.
  3. Access to an existing domain, if you have one.

PLAIN ANSWERS

Questions about small business websites.

Do I need a website if my business already has Facebook?

A website is useful when customers need information they cannot easily find on Facebook, or want to contact you without using it. It gives your services, hours and enquiry details one consistent home. If Facebook already meets your needs, a basic website may be enough.

Can you build a website if I have no technical experience?

Yes. We handle the website setup and explain what we need in plain English. You provide the business information and review the content. You do not need to learn a website builder to get started.

Does a website cost £500 every month?

A website on its own is quoted separately. The £500–£1,500 monthly range is for managed packages with an agreed combination of ongoing work. Your quote separates setup, recurring service and any third-party costs.

Who owns the website and domain?

Ownership, domain registration, account access and what happens when the service ends are set out in your quote before you commit. Ask for these terms alongside the build and maintenance price so the arrangement is clear.

Can you build an online shop as well?

Yes. We also build Shopify websites. A shop needs product information, payment and delivery settings as well as website pages, so it is scoped separately from an informational site.
